Volunteer Development Programme

Please note that the next round of recruitment for volunteers is January 2023. If you are interested in joining then please submit up to an A4 letter explaining why you want to join BCAT and what you can offer.

As a volunteer we expect all involved to donate a minimum 3hrs per month to our cause and to thoroughly engage in the training and placement opportunities to enhance  your own careers.

BCAT do take student placements throughout the year but this is only within our arts in health community work - not in therapies due to the private nature of therapy.

Please contact Richard Mole richardmole@bcat.info for details.

"I came to BCAT because of it's reputation. As someone who was looking to study to become a dramatherapist it was really important to understand the reality of being a therapist and BCAT offered lots of opportunities for me.
I have a BTEC in performing arts and a degree in film/TV and production and a post grad degree in TV producing and 8 years of being a restaurant manager, so this was a complete change of career for me.
I do not regret anything that BCAT has given me!'

Liz is now enjoying life as a HCPC registered professional Dramatherapist after graduating in 2019 from Derby University after working with BCAT .
