Resources & Links
The BCAT libraryBCAT has undertaken to establish a collection of books, video / audiocassettes and other subject-specific material, especially those related to the recently established MSc in Dance Movement Psychotherapy.
The Library is on the first floor of The Friends Institute. This room is designated for the Library's use and provides an area of quiet where people may use the resources provided. ICT equipment ensures access to information on the subject of the Arts Therapies on an international basis; you will have access to a DVD/CD-ROM, Colour Scanner and Printer and Internet access. A small charge is made for the use of the Internet - details from BCAT office. We regret that the Library operates on a reference basis only and books etc. may NOT be taken off premises, except by practising Arts Therapists. Thanks to generous donations from the Lillie Johnson Charitable Trust, the Radcliff Trust, the Foyle Foundation and other Charitable Trusts, the Library stocks an increasingly large range of books and periodicals on the Arts Therapies, not generally available in other libraries. The Library is open during office opening hours - please call the office in advance to arrange a visit on t: 0121 440 8273. |
Information on arts therapiesLinks to useful information“It would have been a great opportunity for us had there been more financial resources for BCAT to continue. I dearly hope we, or BCAT, can find funding in the immediate future for children to continue to receive Arts Therapies…especially with the PMLD group”.
